The Department of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, proudly organized the Workshop on Startup Law Bootcamp: Guiding Entrepreneurs the Right Way as part of the IPR Day Celebrations held on 26.04.2025. This initiative aimed to empower young entrepreneurs and students with essential knowledge in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Startup Law.

The session began with Ms. Karan Agarwal, Partner – Intellectual Property, Vakilsearch, leading the discussions. He was joined by distinguished legal experts, Ms. Dhamini B., Head of Legal, Zolovit, and Mr. Praveen PK, Senior Legal Consultant, who shared valuable insights and experiences.

The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal, Saveetha School of Law, whose visionary leadership continues to drive academic excellence and strengthen industry-academic collaboration.

A major highlight of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Saveetha School of Law and Vakilsearch, symbolizing a significant step towards advancing professional training opportunities and legal education partnerships
