A study on Share Market And Investment

Saveetha School of Law organized a webinar on the topic “A study on Share Market And Investment” on 02/01/2021. Mr. Mr.Mathiazhagan .B.E. was the speaker for the session. The speaker started the session giving an introduction to Share Market and its basic structure. He explained about various types of shares and basic norms for issue of various types of shares. The speaker also gave insight on regulatory role SEBI ( Securities Exchange Board of India ) and various measures taken by SEBI to protect the interest of investors. He also explained the role of brokers and other intermediaries in efficient functioning of share markets. The speaker also gave input on various online trading platforms available and he suggested some websites also to the audience. He shared his personal experiences in the share market and his view about current share market scenario in India. At the end of the session, students asked various doubts relating to DEMAT, Mutual funds , Bonds etc. Overall the session was highly informative and interactive.
