Procedure followed in motor vechile Accident

On 2/1/2021 Saveetha School of Law conducted a webinar on “Procedure followed in motor vehicle Accident”. The speaker of the day was Dr. M.AJITH KUMAR M.B.B.S, a medical practitioner specializes in trauma care. Motor vehicle accidents being a medico legal case, the session aimed at bringing an interdisciplinary awareness about the topic. The speaker narrated the procedures that are followed in motor vehicle accidents and explained about trauma and various types of it as per medical jurisprudence.. He explained about what are the procedure done in primary survey and secondary survey. He also explained different procedures done in assessing a traumatic patient and what are the diagnostics used for it. He finally concluded with safety measures and steps to be done when an accident happens. He also made a comparative study on motor accident trauma care with other foreign countries and the procedures that need to be followed by medics in other countries. The session was very interactive and the students asked more questions to the presenter regarding different types of trauma and how to manage post traumatic stress in accident victims etc.
