The general implications of medical Negligence was explained along with the elements required in proving negligence and concentrated the key elements with the necessary components for a legal claim. The concept of duty of care, breach of duty, causation and damages all were discussed with illustrative cases. He elucidated the significance of section 304A of IPC which deals with the cause of death by negligence and also the importance of section 174 of Code of Criminal procedure and its practical applicability.
