The session commenced as she said the Banking sector is the backbone of an economy. She stated that this sector has undergone great transition over the years due to various economic breakdowns. However the banking services were made available to the common man during the lockdown period with no disruptions. Secondly, the MSMEs are the major components of the economy where more than 40 % of the income and GDP is derived and this has been totally crippled due to COVID-19 and the measures taken by the RBI has come out with a lot of measures to uplift the economy by lending money to banks and reducing the repo rate. She also stated that self-reliance schemes were introduced by the Government of India to boost these sectors by providing loans to MSME Sectors without any collateral security.

Mr. Raghul gave an insightful session by providing different platforms of forensic science and its application. He indulged the idea of viewing the matters and facts in subjective perspective rather than focusing on objective way. The way he approached the students was very interactive and he utilised the session in an effective way by taking the examples of stories from movies, series and books under crime and sci-fi genres. The webinar started off with an introduction about the Speaker followed by an introduction into the topic by the co-ordinator, S. Sadhana. About 25 participants attended the Session. The Speaker walked us through the History of the Mental Health Acts in India and touched upon how mentally ill persons were shunned and discriminated against. Moving on to the existing mental Healthcare Act, 2017, which is touted to be much better than the previous Acts. She concluded the session with the positives and the drawbacks of the Act. Participants raised certain important questions like the link between technology and depression and if anxiety is an indication of the onset of depression. In short, the session was an eye opener and will definitely ensure that the stigma surrounding mental health reduces.

With that she started to describe the importance of the prospectus to a public company. She also elaborated on why prospectus is not merely a notice or advertisement. After telling the importance of the prospectus she also told us how case laws have changed the definition of the prospectus and explained us one landmark case law, NASH V LYNDE. She then explained the legality of the statement in lieu of prospectus with that of an actual prospectus.she also described the essentials of a proper prospectus and concluded by giving what information is not provided in the prospectus and how one can legally enforce such by using various principles under the company law.
