He is involved in share trading activities for the past 4 years and now he is renowned independent trader. The resource person gave an introduction towards importance of financial planning and controlling. He insisted that investment plays a vital role in financial planning. The resource person clearly explained about share trading. With his practical exposure in share trading, the resource person has ignited the students in the field of share trading. He clearly explained the basics of share trading from opening a DEMAT account to real time trading. The lecture also covered the topics related to fluctuations in trading, trading charts, and problems in share trading. The resource person also motivated the students to be part of share trading but with caution.  It was an informative and interactive session for the students towards financial planning and controlling. Initially she gave a detailed insight to the history of marriages- how it was in ancient times..what was the conditions prevailing then and different types of marriages. Then the class discussion was about the major provisions under HMA 1955 , : valid -void-voidable marriages, restitution of conjugal rights, major theories, divorce, grounds of divorce... In the last part of the session the major judicial decisions about important sensitive issues was also discussed. Today’s Special Lecture delivered by Ms. Geetha Muthulakshmi From SRM School Of Law , SRM Institute Of Science and technology on “GENERAL EXCEPTIONS UNDER INDIAN PENAL CODE, 1860” Initially she started her lecture by giving introduction on Exceptional circumstances in which an individual can escape liability and Making Code construction simpler by removing the repetition of criminal exceptions. Continued with an Elaborate Interactions on “Burden of Proofs” and Division of The General Exceptions by Excusable Acts & Judicially Justifiable Acts. Next she moved on to The title called “Mistake Of Facts “ under Section 76 &79 under IPC. She dirived a Legal maxim – “ ignorantia facti doth excusat, ignorantia juris” . Later she moved on to the Sub topics like Accident, Infancy, Insanity, Intoxication under Excusable Acts . Then Necessity, Communication, Duress, Trifles with Respective Sections and Land Mark caselaws Lastly she covered the Important part of the session “ Private Defence” under sec : 96 to 106 of the Code. She finally Concluded by saying the summary of the general exceptions which are available to the accused to escape liability or save himself from the offence committed. It may extend to even causing the death of a person or harm an innocent person too depending upon the circumstances. The accused should also have the right to be heard, keeping in view the democratic character of our nation. That’s why these exceptions are provided so as to represent oneself in the court of law.
