SUMX 2026 (Model United Nations)

SUMX 2026, the Model United Nations organised by Saveetha School of Law, was held on 15–16 September 2026 with 25 Higher Secondary School students participating in the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) committee. Based on the theme “Stop Plastic Pollution,” the two-day event provided students with an engaging platform to develop their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, research, and international affairs. The event was organised by Faculty Members Akshai Aanand and Thousif M., and concluded with the presentation of awards including Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention, recognising the participants for their performance and contribution to the committee proceedings.
