Special Lecture by Clare Burke (Head of IP at Queen Mary University of London)
On February 4, 2025, the students of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th years at Saveetha School of Law had the privilege of attending an engaging special lecture delivered by Clare Burke, the esteemed Head of International Partnerships at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). Ms. Burke began the session by expressing her long-standing association with Saveetha School of Law and her delight at returning to Chennai after the extended gap caused by the pandemic. She reflected warmly on her past interactions with the institution, setting a personal and engaging tone for the lecture.
She provided an insightful introduction to Queen Mary University of London, highlighting its impressive global rankings and distinguished position in the international academic landscape. Ms. Burke emphasized how QMUL has been instrumental in shaping successful career paths for students through its diverse postgraduate programs. She also noted that Saveetha students receive special attention during the admissions process, reflecting the strong academic partnership between the two institutions. The lecture covered an overview of QMUL’s various departments, with a particular focus on its robust law programs.
