On 07.01.2019, A special lecture on Professional Ethics: Issues and Challenges & the art of Advocacy was conducted by E. Ventakesan, Practicing Advocate Madras High Court and a visiting faculty at Madras University. In the first session he covered the important definitions of professional ethics, ethics and morality. Then he discussed about the breach of professional ethics by lawyers, Professional conduct rules on the fiduciary Relationship between the lawyer and his clients, restrictions on advocate to take up other employment and concluded with Remedies against the order of punishment passed by the disciplinary committee
