One day Workshop on awareness program E. BAAT Digital Transformation in Banking
The Reserve Bank of India, abbreviated as RBI, is India's central bank and regulatory body responsible for regulation of the Indian banking system. Owned by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, it is responsible for the control, issue and maintaining supply of the Indian rupee. It also manages the country's main payment systems and works to promote its economic development.
RBI conducted a One day Workshop on awareness program E. BAAT (Digital Transformation in Banking) on 10th of July 2024 in New Moot Hall .This is the first programme of the Department of Commerce after its official inauguration. The resource persons include Mr. Amarnath - The Manager of Department of Payment and Settlement System, Ms. M. Deepa Karthi - Senior Assistant of Department of Payment and Settlement System and Mr. Ramakrishnan Assistant Manager of Department of Payment and Settlement System had created awareness about digital transformation in banking. The speakers made the session very interactive by making PPT presentations, actively questioning and rewarding the students who ever answered correctly.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr.Asha Sundaram, Principal, SSL, the students of Saveetha School of law along with the Faculty coordinators, Dr.C.Jayamala, Head, Department of commerce, Dr. Thilagavathi and Dr.Meenakshi.N have organised the workshop where 241 students have registered and attended the workshop. In total the workshop had been an eye opening experience to the students and completed successfully.
