National Mediation Competition

Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Asha Sundaram, Principal, Department of International Law, successfully conducted the National Mediation Competition as part of Law Fest 2026 on 15th and 16th September 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students of various law colleges. The competition provided participants with practical exposure to mediation, negotiation, communication, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills through simulated mediation sessions. The guidance and evaluation by experienced mediators enriched the learning experience and enabled students to apply their theoretical knowledge of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in practice. The event was successfully conducted through the coordinated efforts of the faculty, evaluators, and student volunteers, making it a valuable and successful component of Law Fest 2026.
