NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FOSTERING INNOVATION AND RELIVING HISTORICAL CROSSROADS

On June 18, 2024, The Dept of Humanities & Social Sciences, Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, hosted the National Conference on Fostering Innovation and Reliving Historical Crossroads. The seminar attracted 150 participants and few presenters, eager to delve into India's rich history and burgeoning startup ecosystem.

In the first session the guest Mr. Madhan who is a Research Fellow, Jawaharlal Nehru University provided an insightful narrative on post-independent India, focusing on the Anti-Hindi Agitation. He detailed how the movement shaped the linguistic and cultural landscape of modern India, emphasizing its significance in the nation's democratic and federal structure.

In the second session the guest Mr. Vinoth Kumar, Startup Consultant, highlighted the dynamic and evolving startup ecosystem in India. He discussed the various stages of a startup’s lifecycle, from ideation to scaling up, and shared valuable insights on the support systems available for budding entrepreneurs.
