Special Lecture on Market Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning (STP) was organized by Dr. Sreeya B on 7.01.2019. Resource Person for the session was Mr. S. Victor Raj, Assistant Manager, DCDR Infra Private Limited. He has nearly 15 years of academic and industrial experience. The resource person discussed about the following concepts in detail such as marketing mix, segmentation, bases of segmentation, process involved in segmentation, targeting, different strategies that can be used for targeting and concluded with how to position the product through perceptual mapping. It was an informative and interactive session for the students. The students were able to understand the concepts with the help of different companies real time scenarios.
