4th Ever rolling Mega Moot competition’2021

The event was scheduled and conducted successfully from October 28th to October 30th 2021 by Saveetha School Of Law. The Mega Moot is the flagship moot competition of SSL which starts by way of a Multi Moot conducted for the entire students of Saveetha School Of Law, out of which the best of the best are filtered which consist of 28 teams. Each team compraise of Two speakers and Two Researchers. Total of 120 participants. The event was structured for 3 days as Researchers Test, Preliminary Round, Quarter finals, the Final Round .

There is an eye of justice that sees everything.— Menander, 4th cent. BC, Ancient Greek dramatist. Hence, each round was adjudged by multiple judges. Preliminary round was adjudged by 2 Judges, Quarter finals was adjudged by 5 Judges. Around 28 renowned practicing High court Advocates adjudged the initial rounds and top two teams was adjudged by Honourable Justice Jayachandran, Former Judge, High Court of Madras and Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal, Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS. Honorable Justice Mrs.Pushpa Sathyanarayanan, Judge, High Court of Madras was the chief Guest for the valedictory function on 30th October ‘2021 .

The event was coordinated by Moot Coordinator Mrs. Sornalakshmi. Overall the Mega Moot the flagship Event of SSL which has proven to be a grand success in its preceding 3 editions and stepped into the 4th edition just shows that it only gets better and better as the years pass by. SSL will continue to conduct Mega Moot as Star event every year which will come in a grander manner than before.
