Webinar - FAMILY LAW IN INDIAN LEGAL PERSPECTIVE AS PRACTICED IN THE INDIAN COURTS

Webinar on “FAMILY LAW IN INDIAN LEGAL PERSPECTIVE AS PRACTICED IN THE INDIAN COURTS”. We have conducted this webinar  in three sessions.  

The first session was  handled by  Ms. Mohana Priya, practising  Advocate (Madras High Court) on 19th March 2022 @ 04:00 pm – 04:45 pm.   We had nearly active participants who remained till the end . This session was conducted through a zoom meeting. The welcome speech was given by student coordinator Kishore (131702031) with a small introduction stating about the speaker and her experience on the topic. The guest speaker Ms. Mohana Priya, with the webinar  on "divorce under Family Law. She explained the key aspects  of divorce proceedings in practice as with her experience in family court proceedings. 

The second  session was handled  by  Mrs. Lahari Depur – on 19th March 2022 @ 04:45 PM – 05:30 PM.   We had nearly similar active participants who remained till the end . This session was conducted through a zoom. The welcome speech was given by student coordinator Kishore (131702031) with a small introduction stating about the speaker and her expertise on the topic. The guest speaker, started with the webinar on “Admission of Private Conversations in Courts” The speaker explained about the cases and her experience about the cases she handled and how she submitted the evidence particularly for this type of cases. The speaker also explained about the importance of the provisions of  the act.  

The Third session  was handled  by Mr. S. Siva Rama Rajeswaran (Advocate practicing at Madras High Court) –on 19th March 2022 @ 05:30pm – 06:15 pm.   We had nearly active participants who remained till the end . This session was conducted through a zoom. The welcome speech was given by student coordinator Saravana Rajan S (131701083) with a small introduction stating about the speaker and her expertise on the topic. The guest speaker, Mr. S. Siva Rama Rajeswaran started with the webinar on “Hindu Family Law Cases with special reference to HMOP Cases”. He explained a few important provisions and also shared his view on the functioning and the proceedings in any family and Mahila Courts.
