Transfer of Property under Registration Act

The webinar on Transfer of Property under the Indian Registration Act , organised on 8th December 2020, with Adv. Mr. Gopalakrishnan was intended to bring out the linkages between the Transfer of Property Act and th Indan Registration Act. Centered around the registration practices followed in and around Chennai, the resource person explained the concept of registration and the types of deeds and documents that can be registered along with the stamp duty associated. The lecture provided useful insights on the practical aspects of registration of property, requirements of formal documentation and the prerequisites for registration.
