Special lecture “Organisation Culture"

Special lecture on the topic “Organisation Culture" was organized by Ms. Aruna A R for the Slot G(B) – Organizational Behaviour (NC1350) students on 17th March, 2022. The resource person of the session was Mr. Dheeraj B., Senior QA Lead, Revature India Private Limited, Chennai. He has more than ten years of experience in quality assurance domain in an organisation. The speaker started the session with the employee role in an organisation. He also explained the importance of union in an organisation. The resource person also touched upon the attitude of employees. He made the students to understand about the ways to solve a complaint and the procedure to approach the higher officials and legal team for any problems or issues in an organisation. He also gave an insight on how human resources team is connected with legal team. The resource person highlighted how an in-house legal department works and how the employees approach the legal’s for solution. This lecture helped the students to understand about the law internship program in a company. This information will be very helpful for the upcoming career of any lawyer or individual. Finally, he concluded that the stress is related to job satisfaction and each company adopt different techniques to reduce the stress. Overall the session was very helpful and the students were interactive.
