Special lecture was conducted on the topic “Interaction between Trade and Development". Mrs.L.Dhatchayani , Scholar, SIMATS, was invited to deliver the special lecture, who started the session with the general introduction on Sustainable development. The objective of the lecture is to elucidate how Trade and Environment are related and mutually supportive, on the basis of various international conventions relating to multilateral environmental agreements and the role of WTO on achieving the goal of promoting international trade and Environmental management. Overall the session was interactive and the speaker in turn cleared the doubt of the students, overall the lecture was an eye opener to international law.
