Mr A Ravishanker, Faculty, Insurance Institute of India delivered lecture on the "Brussels convention and Salvage in Marine sector". The speaker gave an introduction to the maritime industry, history of Brussels conventions and its implementation in Indian legislation. The speaker also discussed the various legislations in India with reference to Maritime law. Concerns pertaining to the Anti Marine Piracy Bill were raised.
