Resource Person for the session was Mr. Mohammed Adnan V. L., Director, Stalwart Infusion. He has more six years of academic and industrial experience. He is involved in share trading activities for the past 4 years and now he is renowned independent trader. The resource person gave an introduction towards importance of financial planning and controlling. He insisted that investment plays a vital role in financial planning. The resource person clearly explained about share trading. With his practical exposure in share trading, the resource person has ignited the students in the field of share trading. He clearly explained the basics of share trading from opening a DEMAT account to real time trading. The lecture also covered the topics related to fluctuations in trading, trading charts, and problems in share trading. The resource person also motivated the students to be part of share trading but with caution.  It was an informative and interactive session for the students towards financial planning and controlling. The students were able to understand the concepts with the help of real time share trading terminals.

Damages and the remedies

A special Lecture was conducted by Miss. V.Aishwarya, Practicing Advocate at the honourable High Court of Madras. She delivered a lecture on the topic "Damages", she interacted with the students and shared about her experience. She also covered the major aspects of damages and injunction with respect to legal procedure. As a part of discussion she explained the basic concepts like contact and agreement. The essential part of the lecture she explained how to draft contract document and how to enter into an agreement she also explained the legal proceedings if any disputes arises in the matter of Damages and compensation. And finally she explained how to register the contract document and gave an awareness about the witnesses and stamp duties. Students attended the lecture and interacted with the guest faculty and benefitted through this Lecture.

Guest lecture for slot B was held on 10-1-2019, by Vidya Menon, Assistant Professor, SRM School Of Law, Chennai. The lecture was about the "concept of marriage Under Hindu Marriage Act 1955". Initially she gave a detailed insight to the history of marriages- how it was in ancient times..what was the conditions prevailing then and different types of marriages. Then the class discussion was about the major provisions under HMA 1955 , : valid -void-voidable marriages, restitution of conjugal rights, major theories, divorce, grounds of divorce... In the last part of the session the major judicial decisions about important sensitive issues was also discussed. After the lecture the students had an interactive session to clarify further doubts on Hindu Marriage Act1955.
