Workshop on ‘Gender Sensitization and Gender Roles

The Department of Intellectual Property Law organised a Workshop on ‘Gender Sensitization and Gender Roles’ in Peace Garden Matriculation School at Yelagiri Hills, Thirupathur District.  

The scope of Workshop was divided into 5 Parts, they are as follows:  

a) Unlearning Soceital stigmas (Movie Scenes)

b) Role play (Gender Roles Conflicts)

c) Presentation and discussion

d) Survey through questionnaires

e) Skit 

All the above activities were given to set five groups of Students and they had taken up the task and performed and presented them with a greater precision in a given time. As a result of the workshop, our students were able to make aware the students of Peace Garden Residential School on the Gender Roles and forms discrimination faced by the larger section of the people based on their sexuality. We deeply thank our Principal mam and the Institution for giving the opportunity to conduct and organize this workshop.
