The webinar was conducted  on the topic of Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Arrest, Detention, Bail and Habeas Corpus.The Guest Speaker of the webinar was Mr.S.Ragupathi, a practicing advocate with over 10 years of experience.The speaker explained the importance of law students to gain knowledge on the Practical Aspects of the Court proceedings. He explained the reality that happens at the time of arrest and detention.He also elucidated on the topic of Bail,the types of bail at this juncture, sir differentiated the concepts of arrest and detention and explained the circumstances to claim for bail. The Speaker explained the  concept of Writ of Habeas Corpus and cited numerous lamdmark case laws for better understanding of all the topics. On a concluding note sir shared his first case experience as an advocate in the High Court. 

This Topic is of great importance as graduating Law students need to posses both theoretical and practical knowledge on the procedures of the court.
