Mr.Arockia Dass, started the session by giving a basic introduction about arbitration. Later on moved to objectives behind the enactment  of arbitration and conciliation act and explained the provision under Section 34 of the act. He also explained in detail the advantages and disadvantages of ADR, the cases or disputes that can be taken for arbitration proceedings .  He also explained the binding nature of arbitration award and the procedure in which interim orders can be obtained in the arbitration proceedings as in normal civil suits.
