Department of Humanities and Social Sciences & Department of Labour Law organized to observe the Tamil Nadu Legislative assembly winter session for students. The Students reached at 11am and there were various checking and security procedures taken place by the security guards and allowed to watch the assembly from 12 to 1 PM. Tamil Nadu Assembly adopts resolution against Hindi imposition and had discussion about the resolution.  The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Party Whip Mr.Sindhanai Selvan, Indian National Congress Party’s Member K. Selvaperunthagai, Communist Party members supported the resolution and  Pattali Makkal Katchi, Bharatiya Janata Party etc also expressed their concern over the resolution.  Students were very much interested in watching the assembly session and also actively interacted with Mr. J. Mohamed Shanavas, Member of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for Nagapattinam constituency. About the session and also shared their views and perspectives regarding the session.
