Special lecture on “Sexual Harassment for present scenario with enactments”

The Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell of the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences coordinated by Saveetha School of Law organised an awareness Programme on prevention of sexual harassment at Kurunji Hall  SIMATS for SAVEETHA COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES & SAVEETHA SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION students and faculties  on 26th of April 2022. The three guest speakers where invited to deliver the lecture on the respective topics, Advocate Mrs. Adhilakshmi Logamurthy delivered a lecture on “Sexual Harassment for present scenario with enactments”, Advocate S.Jayanathi had given her delivered a lecture on “Sexual Harassment and Abuse ”, Advocate Mrs. S.Sivasankari has delivered a lecture on “Prevention on  Sexual Harassment in the Society”. Participants had become fully observed about the Acts and procedures laid down in preventing sexual harassment, that create awareness. The guest speakers also spoke about the  various law, rules and regulations with recent enactment with Judgements and explained about current scenariaro of sexual harassment in various environment and how to prevent from abuse of harassment. Over all 59 Plus students and faculties participated in the awareness programme.
