ROAD SHOW ON ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Saveetha School of Law in Collaboration with KFCRI (Kovise Foundation Conflict Resolution International) which is striving towards in its mission to educate the legal community on ADR mechanisms & render service for the same, has organized a Road Show on Alternative Dispute Resolution to discover new career opportunities in ADR on 29th Oct,2022 from 10.00 am to 12.15pm. More than 100 students have exhibited their enthusiastic participation in the event. The session was inaugurated with the welcome address delivered by Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal, SSL. The event was divided into three sessions with respect to the subjects discussed. Firstly, Mr.Sipi Visht, Tribunal Secretary & Research Associate, KFCRI gave a brief introduction and discussed the basics of ADR which gave an overview of the field of ADR before entering deep into the topic. Secondly, Mr.Inbavijayan Veeraraghavan, International Arbitrator & Advocate made the session wonderful by sharing his myriad knowledge in ADR mechanisms. Thirdly, Mr.Shanmuga Dev, Advocate discussed the scope of ADR in the present day and its possible evolution in the near future. At last, there was a Q&A session which paved the way for the students to get cleared of their doubts on ADR with the resource personnels and ended up with a vote of thanks. On the whole, the entire session enlightened the students with the importance of ADR mechanisms and the availability of immense opportunities in the field. It was indeed a great pleasure to have a valuable session.
