Today, we conducted a special lecture for the students on the topic 'Redifining Poverty Line in India'. Mr. M. Thenkovan, Assistant Professor, Guru Nanak College, Chennai delivered the lecture. The concepts related to Poverty and the need for redefining poverty line we're discussed in the session. The session was very interesting and linked inequality and poverty measurement with welfare evaluation.
