Orientation Program on Empowerment of Women and Girls

The Department of Constitutional Law Organised an Orientation Program on the THEME: EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS” on the TOPIC: PROBONO LEGAL SERVICE in FORWARD Women's Organisation(NGO), East Tambaram,Chennai-600 059, on account of International Women’s Day on 16.02.2023. Dr.M.Shiamala, the Chief Functionary is invited to give special orientation.The two of the Staffs given orientation about the probono legal service and the Social Services. Along with the Faculty Co-ordinators, Mrs.V.Udayavani and Ms.V.Shree Lekha,55 Students attended. The orientation Program made awareness about the importance of Women Empowerment and Gender Equality and the ways to eradicate the social stigma in the society against the Women and Girls.
