Orientation Program 2024

Saveetha School of Law successfully organized a four-day Orientation Program from August 12th to 16th, 2024, designed to introduce first-year law students to the intricacies of the legal profession.

Day 1 featured a session led by Dr. Ranjit Oommen Abraham, Head of the Department (i/c) of Cyberspace Law & Justice at TNDALU, who provided valuable insights into the emerging field of cyber law. On the second day, the students were enlightened by Prof. Dr. A. David Ambrose, former Professor and Head of the Department of Legal Studies, who shared his extensive experience in legal education.

The third day was guided by Mr. V. R. Hari Balaji, National Consultant for Disaster Management, who spoke on the legal aspects of disaster management. The program culminated on August 16th, 2024, with an address by Mr. Justice K. Kannan, Retired Judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, who imparted wisdom drawn from his esteemed judicial career.
