National Workshop on Law and Medicine Organized by the Centre for Law and Medicine, Saveetha School of Law, in collaboration with Kilpauk Medical College. held on 2nd & 3rd May 2025

The Centre for Law and Medicine at Saveetha School of Law, in collaboration with Kilpauk Medical College, successfully conducted a two-day National Workshop on Law and Medicine on 2nd and 3rd May 2025. The workshop brought together legal and medical professionals, academicians, and students to explore the intersection of law and medicine.

Key topics discussed included medical ethics, patient rights, informed consent, medical negligence, mental health laws, end-of-life care, and public health legislation. The event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, case study analyses, and interactive sessions.

Coordinated by Ms. Girija Anil and Ms. Sornalakshmi from Saveetha School of Law, the workshop was widely appreciated for promoting interdisciplinary understanding and encouraging dialogue on the legal dimensions of healthcare.
