National seminar on the Rights of Domestic Workers

The national seminar on the rights of domestic workers was conducted at saveetha school of law on 29.07.2022. Resource person named Mrs. Jayanthi, founder of shine foundation. Mr. Irudhayaraj, assistant director, secretary of shi8ne foundation. Mrs. Pushpa, field animator, district leader and state treasurer of domestic worker union. Mrs. Shrivaishynavi., programme coordinator of tamil nadu domestic worker welfare trust, were invited to give a lecture on the rights of domestic workers. Around 65 students participated. Two documentary films were shown to the students which consist of problems and issues faced by domestic workers. This program enlightens about the rights, problems and lacuna of laws for domestic workers.
