National seminar on - ‘Narcotics drugs and substance"

Saveetha School of law in collaboration with narcotics intelligence bureau (CID) conducted a seminar on -‘Narcotics drugs and substance ‘ - on September 15th 2022 

Addressing the program offline A.D Sakkaravarthi Deputy Superintendent  of police  , Chennai (Narcotics intelligence bureau ) cid Explained about illness and side effects of drugs and usage and distribution of drugs in our society ,Showcased the different varieties of drugs that students can be aware of those drugs , explained about the social parties and how students easily influenced to drug usage. 

P.Jeyabharathi Inspector of police Chennai (Narcotics intelligence bureau ) cid focused on the distribution of drugs and how the drugs has been exchanged between the college students and politics inside the students  

Ramachandran , Head constable (Narcotics intelligence bureau ) , cid Chennai shared his experience and how the convict behave when they take them into custody  

Dr.Jayachandran , MBBS,Doctor Explained about various medicine and the dosage to use, and shared the theory that medicine is different and drugs are different  

Soumya Shankar Raman, Drug counsellor, Head Therapy & Operations Acquired great knowledge about the mental health of drug users and how to identify the person who intakes drug and how to overcome if the person is into drug usage  

Therefore the most significant measure in protecting drugs , strengthening personal commitments against drug abuse. Giving immediate information to officials if they aware of any kind of drugs that may save a life
