Legal Awareness Camp on sustainable development

Saveetha School of Law has successfully completed a series of programs dedicated in creating awareness about sustainable development.

Organized by the Department of Business Law, Saveetha School of Law, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Kerala, these programs were held at the picturesque Thenmala Eco Tourism site on the 17th and 18th of August.

Under the visionary guidance of Mrs. Vidyassri S.P, the Head of the Business Law Department, this initiative aimed to enlighten minds about crucial legal aspects related to sustainable development.

The event encompassed a wide array of activities designed to foster understanding and action. From an engaging Mime performance centered on the protection of forestry conservation to a dynamic legal awareness campaign highlighting the perils of plastic in the context of eco tourism, the event left participants both informed and inspired.

Adding an element of fun to the learning journey, the "Vilithiru - Treasure Hunt" brought attention to the urgency of responsible tourism practices in collaboration with the Thenmala EcoTourism Promotion Society and the Department of Tourism, Kerala.

An "Awareness Rally on Exploring Eco Tourism: Sustaining Forest Through Conservation" further united participants under the banner of preserving our natural treasures.

Under the banner of "Ondrinai" or "United," an inspiring rally showcased the collective power of individuals coming together to protect our planet.

The event concluded on a vibrant note with a mesmerizing Flash Mob, serving as a colorful overview of the journey towards sustainable development.
