Legal Awareness Camp at Government High School, Mugalivakkam

The Department of Labour Law, Saveetha School of Law, In celebration of International Youth Day, organised a dynamic and informative legal awareness program on 11th August 2023 at Government High School, Mugalivakkam. The event aimed to empower the students of class 9th and 10th with valuable insights into the “Skills of the Future”, and also the program enhanced their understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities in the modern world. The event was organised by Mr. Aariya N., Assistant Professor at Saveetha Law College.

The initiative taken by the Department of Labour Law at Saveetha Law College,not only celebrated International Youth Day but also contributed to the holistic development of the high school students, preparing them to confidently face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their academic and professional journeys.

The visit accompanied by around 40 Students with two Student Co-ordinator Mr.Anto Iraianbu &  Miss.Subraja. The students of Saveetha law School had actively participated during the visit and interacted with the studetns and members of management. This awareness program enhanced our students public speaking skills and improved their sense of social responsibility and a commitment to the well-being of the community. Our Students had also gained a more practical understanding of how legal issues impact people's lives. In conclusion we believe that by educating others, law students contribute to the dissemination of legal knowledge beyond the classroom.
