Legal Awareness program

Constitutional law dept organised a socio legal outreach program at old age home, Kaakum karangal in paalavakkam and muttukadu. Students have explained the legal rights and certain provisions related to abandoned senior citizens as per  THE MAINTENANCE AND WELFARE OF PARENTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS ACT,2007 . Students interacted with the old age people regarding to the issues they face. We donated certain needs of the old age home. This is not only an legal awareness program but also a social outreach in which students learnt the lessons and values of life from the experienced and affected senior citizens.
