Educational Tour
On 17 th may of 2023 the students went for an educational tour on Pallava's administration and architecture in Mahabalipuram under the Chief Organiser Dr. Asha Sundaram The Principal of Saveetha School of Law (SIMATS).First the students went to the sea shore temple,The Shore Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Mahabalipuram, India. It is a magnificent stone temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, built during the 8th century AD. The temple stands on the shore of the Bay of Bengal and showcases exquisite Dravidian architecture. It is known for its beautifully carved sculptures, intricate detailing, and its strategic location near the sea. The Shore Temple is a popular tourist attraction and a significant historical monument in South India. and then went to Krishna's Butter Ball, This large granite boulder perched on a slope seems to defy gravity as it remains balanced precariously. At last went to Arjuna's Penance, Also known as the Descent of the Ganges, this massive rock relief sculpture is another notable attraction in Mahabalipuram. It depicts various mythical figures and scenes from Hindu mythology and is considered one of the largest bas-reliefs in the world.In the end the tour were helpful to understand the administration and their Constitution at that period.
