On 18.10.2019., special Lecture was conducted by Ms. Mumtaz., Guest Lecturer., SOEL on The “Commercialization of Surrogacy in India". After introducing the topic briefly, She clarifies the meaning and concept of Surrogacy ,various definitions of Surrogacy ,the three different kinds of surrogacy followed by the discussion of its historical background. The history has been discussed in both Indian and World context, she also discussed about the commercialization of Surrogacy in India and mentions about the Surrogacy Super Mart prevalent in India. Thereafter, various moral and ethical issues relating to surrogacy have been discussed.
