5th JUS AMICUS 2024 - National Moot Court Competition

The 3 day 5th National Moot Court Competition began with the inauguration ceremony on 1st of February 2024. Total of 40 teams submitted their memos for the memorial selection round, out of which 24 teams were short-listed for the oral rounds conducted in the Saveetha School of Law, Chennai. Participating team for the oral rounds were from around 11 different states all over India. The finals was adjudicated by Dr. David Ambrose, former Head and Dean of Legal Studies, University of Madras, Prof. Dr. Shijju, Acting Dean, Sai University and Adv. Narmadha Sampath, Former Additional Advocate General, High Court of Madras. The Chief Guest for the valedictory function was Hon’ble Mr. Justice A.A. Nakkiran, High Court of Madras and was presided by Prof. Dr. S Suresh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, SIMATS. The event was convened by Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal, SSL, with Mrs. Girija Anil Kumar as Faculty Convenor, and Mr. Arun Kumar R, as Faculty Coordinator for the event.
