THIRD EYE ON LAW

The speaker is Mr. Rahman sheriff,M.Sc (Psychology), M.L (Criminal Law) and practicing as an advocate since 2007. The webinar conducted was on third eye on law. 

The speaker started the session with a general view of law and what does the law means. He had explained the duties of law students in society to impose  law and create awareness among people about their rights and duties towards the state. He further explained about Interpretation of law and highlighted the importance of Indian penal code and criminal procedure code. He also explained about transfer of property and importance of rules in filing the cases. In addition, he compared and talked about motor vehicle Act and helmet rule. The maxim " Ignorantia juris non excusat" was also discussed.. He said about ingredients ,how to prove that a person has committed a criminal offence. He had explained about restitution of conjugal rights with illustration. This topic was chosen as it is necessary to know duties and responsibilities of the law students in the society to protect the rights of the public and give awareness to them.
