The concept of drafting and its general principles 

On 01.11.2019., special Lecture was conducted by Mr. TamilVanan., Advocate, Madras High Court on “The Concept of Drafting and it’s General Principles". After introducing the topic briefly, he clarifies the meaning of drafting ,definitions of Draft and the two types of terminology in making a draft. Then he discussed about the purpose of drafting and the Importance of legal document. Further discussed about the law relating to drafting and the Principles govern drafting. Thereafter, he discussed about the different types of principles that is included in drafting , General rules for drafting and the physical characteristics of drafting. Therefore, he discussed about the drafting of deed. He concluded that drafting is an art which should be known by every writer. An Advocate should always keep in his mind that language used should be precise and simple which can be easily understood by the clients.
