Special lecture title on "Law and Police Administration in Tamil Nadu"

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Saveetha School of Law organised a one day Invited Lecture On Law and Police Administration in Tamil Nadu dated 12 August 2023. This invited lecture delivered by Dr. G.K Kannan, MA, DEEE, PHD, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pallikaranai, Tambaram City Police, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The lecture successfully highlighted the crucial role of police administration, the importance of reforms in police, and the working conditions of the police force and their psychology were discussed with students.

The SSL students were left with a good knowledge of how the police force in Tamil Nadu and especially in Chennai works were narrated by the speaker.

The lecture also insisted that skills can enhance legal professional understanding of police administration and their relevance to contemporary state and societies were taken away from this lecture.
