Seminar on Social engineering attack
The Department of constitutional law organised a seminar on social engineering attack which mainly focused on cyber crime and white collar crimes that have been prevailing in India. The seminar was conducted on 2nd March 2023 between 10am to 1pm. The Chief guests to this event were Ms.M.Sri Lisha Stebila Theras (DSP) in state cyber command centre Chennai and Mr.Subramaniam Sankaran, Chief information security officer (ISSS.UK). The seminar started with Sri Lisha Stebila(DSP) , she gave an interesting speech on the prevailing cyber crime and how it has been prevailing in India and how it needs to be tackled by the people. She made the students aware about the emergency line to contact if any cyber attack takes place on the people and she also gave information about the current cyber crime attacks that took place. Mr.Subramaniam gave an exciting speech about the cyber crime websites and how we can tackle those attacks technically and he also recommended various websites that take in the complaints regarding the cyber attack. He also gave real life examples regarding the cyber crime that had taken place. This seminar was so informative and helpful to the students as all those cyber attacks that were discussed was currently happening to many people and to our students itself. So this seminar showed a path to overcome those fraudulent acts. This seminar was organised by the constitutional law department
