Redcard Campaign
Youth United Council of India is a non-profit, youth-run organization aiming to give the youth a platform to empower them through various programs and opportunities. YUCI is dedicated to strengthening the youth community and helping them achieve success in sustainable development.
As you might be aware of the rising percentage of the discrimination and violences against Women and Girls, the United Nations has taken an initiative to raise the "Red Card '' against all these discriminations and injustice. A red card in soccer spotlights and helps prevent unfair or dangerous behaviour. We, therefore, give the RED CARD to discrimination and violence against women and girls in all forms and in all countries.
Youth United Council of India is extending its full support in this by campaigning in India at 9 states to bring awareness among 20 million people across India. We have successfully completed the campaign at nearly 77+ venues and reached out to 10 million people.
By the support of renowned personalities in their respective fields and eminent personalities like the Members of the Parliament, Member of the Lok Sabha, Members of the Assembly, Speakers of the Assembly, Hon’ble Ministers, DCP, DGP, Actors, Sports persons etc have joined us and raised the Red Card in their full support towards it.
On 04th May 2023, students of Saveetha School of Law, among with its faculties, had joined hands to hands together along with Youth United Council of India and participated in India’s largest campaign, the Red Card Campaign at Saveetha School of Law and pledged to support and committee themselves to stop all forms of discrimination against women and girls by raising the Red Card. The event was successful held in SSL with the support of Mr. Arun Kumar. R, Assistant Professor along with the 3 students of SSL, Mehak. M, Rakshita Jai and Srinidhi Srinivasan, who are Members of YUCI LAW WING. The event was conducted in the presence of professors Mrs. Girija Anil, Dr.. Anju Mohan, Dr. Shoba Jasmin, Mr. Thousif, Ms. Manonmani, Mr. Manoj Ram and Mr. Ashwin Kumar. Over 100 students joined this event.
