Legathon 2024: Pioneering Legal Innovation at Saveetha School of Law

The first edition of the Legathon 2024, a groundbreaking event aimed at fostering legal innovation, was successfully organized by Ms. Jayapreethi Manoharan, Assistant Professor, under the expert guidance of Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal of Saveetha School of Law. Held on August 21, 2024, this event attracted 14 teams, each eager to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills in the legal domain.

The competition was structured into two challenging levels: the Ideation Stage and the Novation Stage. During the Ideation Stage, teams presented their initial concepts, highlighting novel approaches to addressing pressing legal challenges. Those who advanced to the Novation Stage then refined and expanded their ideas, demonstrating the feasibility and impact of their solutions.

Legathon 2024 not only provided a platform for students to innovate but also encouraged them to think critically about the future of law and its intersection with technology and society. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic calendar of Saveetha School of Law, setting a high standard for future editions.
