Legal Awareness Campaign Conducted by Mrs. S P Vidyassri (HoD) of the Department of Business Law on 21st and 22nd December 2023 On account of National Consumer Rights Days 2023, Karaikal, Pondicherry (UT)

1. Keynote Speech by Mr. ILAMURUGAN, T.R. Pattinam Commune Panchayat Commissioner: The esteemed Commissioner shared valuable insights into the role of local governance in protecting consumer rights. Emphasis was placed on collaborative efforts between local authorities and the community to create a consumer-friendly environment.

2. Legislative Perspectives by Shri. M. Nagathiyagarajan, MLA (28-Neravy-T.R.Pattinam): Shri. M. Nagathiyagarajan, Member of Legislative Assembly, highlighted legislative measures and initiatives aimed at strengthening consumer protection. His address shed light on the commitment to enact laws that safeguard consumers' interests.

3. Interactive Legal Workshops: Engaging legal workshops were conducted, covering topics such as understanding consumer rights, dispute resolution mechanisms, and legal avenues available to consumers. Participants had the opportunity to interact with legal experts for personalized guidance.
