Jus Festum' 2024

Jus Festum 2024, the annual award ceremony of Saveetha School of Law, was held on September 14th at MM Convention Hall,  with Hon. M. Kula Segaran, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) from Malaysia, honouring the occasion. His keynote address highlighted the global relevance of legal education and institutional reform, setting the tone for the event. The award ceremony was graced by Dr.N.M Veeraiyan , Founder and the Chancellor of SIMATS , Prof.Dr.Asha Sundaram, Principal of Saveetha School of Law.  The ceremony featured several esteemed guests, including Mr. Asra Garg, IPS (Inspector General), Ms. Ayman Jamal IPS ( DCP, Avadi ) , Dr. G. Kannan, Assistant Commissioner, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi IIS, Deputy Director (Press Information Bureau), and Dr. R. Nantha Gopal IAS, Commissioner (Tamil Nadu Archives and Historical Research). Each guest delivered insightful speeches on various aspects of law, justice, governance, and the legal profession, providing valuable perspectives to the audience. They also took part in presenting awards, celebrating the academic, extra curricular  and co-curricular achievements of students, teaching and non teaching. The awards recognized excellence in areas such as legal research, moot court competitions, and other legal endeavors. The presence of such distinguished guests underscored the importance of the event, motivating students and faculty alike to continue striving for excellence in their legal careers.
