The webinar was on the topic "Introduction to labour law and industrial establishment" and the speaker is Mrs. K. Malathi, Senior Manager HR, BHAVINI, Kalpakkam. 

The speaker introduced the basics of labour law and industrial establishment. She also explained the method of applicability of labour laws in Corporation sectors. She explained that in such Nuclear power plant sectors they follow ESI Act rather than separately following Maternity Benefit Act. She also explained about the labour law procedures followed in a corporate sector. This provided the basic knowledge to students about the applicability of labour laws in the corporation sector. 

This topic was taken to differentiate between the practical application and the theoretical knowledge of labour law in Corporations.
