On 10th September 2022, of Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS Organised a One day “Legal Awareness Camp on Domestic Violence and abuse based on the vision of Unnat Bharath Abhiyan 2.0 at Maduramangalam Village, Kanchipurm District, Tamilnadu. Two faculties namely Mrs. S P Vidyassri, Assistant Professor & Head of Business Law Department, Mrs. K kaliselvi Assistant Professor, Coordinated the Programme. Total no of attendees were 25 students.

The President Ms. Dhanalakshmi and Mr. Mohan Assistant guided us in approaching the general public in and around the village like 100 days Daily wage workers and household women's were been asked to assemble near kandur agricultural paddy filed. Our student coordinators named Mr. Arun, Ms. Nivetha, Ms. Mangaiyarkarasi gave a speech with regard to Laws pertaining to domestic violence and its practical Applicability, followed with group discussion and quessiionare session lead to addressing different issues of the audience and gave legal aid to them.
