General Principles of Pleadings

Mr. R. PALANIANDAVAN  the resource person of this webinar, started with the importance of pleadings and its principles and explained in detail about the requirements needed for pleadings. He also explained the process at which the courts will examine a pleading and guided us on how to avoid those errors. He then elaborated on the requirements of the plaint and the written statement and pointed their differences and similarities along with principles of pleadings. At last he explained the concepts of set-off and counterclaims by the defendant.
