Enriching Faculty Development Program

On February 8th, 2024, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (DH&SS) at Saveetha School of Law (SSL) organized a valuable One-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal of SSL.

Held at the Seminar Hall, the program drew participation from enthusiastic faculty members, providing them with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and insights across crucial areas.

The program featured three stimulating sessions, each led by renowned experts:

●      "Application of Law in Practical Aspects": Delivered by Mr. G.M. Gokul Ram, the session offered invaluable insights into translating legal principles into real-world scenarios.

●      "Role of Media in Public Relations": Mr. S. Magesh, Reporter at News Tamil, Chennai, shared his expertise on the intricacies of effective media engagement and its impact on public perception.

●      "Research Paper Writing for Scopus Publication": Dr. S. Sagathevan provided practical guidance on crafting high-quality research papers compliant with the rigorous standards of Scopus, a leading bibliographic database.
